ACNE

Acne is the term for plugged pores (blackheads and whiteheads), pimples, and even deeper lumps (cysts or nodules) that occur on the face, neck, chest, back, shoulders and even the upper arms.  Acne affects most teenagers to some extent.  However, the disease is not restricted to any age group; adults in their 20s - even into their 40s - can get acne.  Acne can be upsetting and disfiguring.  When severe, acne can lead to serious and permanent scarring.  Even less severe cases can lead to scarring.

My treatment plans will not only help clear your skin but I will also address any hyper-pigmentation or scarring that was a result of your acne.

An intensive exfoliation process that rejuvenates the skin by utilizing a diamond encrusted tip and vacuum pressure. Dead skin cells are removed, stimulating collagen, improving skin texture and pigmentation. Pore size and scarring is improved and fine lines are smoothed. Blood flow is improved to the dermis stimulating the production of healthy skin cells and restoring a healthy glow to the skin. Includes face and neck. Full extractions are followed by cryotherapy  to soothe and calming serums.

A session of intensive acne extractions utilizing microsurgery for the most troubled skins. The skin is cooled after treatment with cryotherapy which is soothing and healing. Acne patients are followed by Dr. Brown who directs a program of treatment which many include prescription medications and medical grade skin products. It is recommended that acne is treated in a series with treatments every one to two weeks for best results.
